From Here serves as the administrative point person for the estate.
Your attorney handles the legal work. Your accountant handles tax matters. Your financial advisor handles financial advice. From Here helps connect the pieces—organizing information, coordinating with professionals, completing administrative tasks, tracking what is outstanding, following up, and keeping the overall process moving.
You remain in control of the important decisions, without having to personally manage every detail. I take on as much of the administrative workload as I can, while keeping you informed about what has been completed, what is still outstanding, and what needs your attention.
How From Here Can Step In
From organizing the estate and coordinating professionals to handling paperwork, property, and follow-up, I can take on much of the administrative work that would otherwise fall to you.
Estate Organization & Planning
Review what has already been done, gather key information, identify priorities, build the master task list and timeline, and create an organized plan for moving forward.
Documents, Accounts, Finances, & Benefits
Locate and organize estate documents and account information, investigate potential death benefits, determine notification and claim requirements, prepare paperwork, track submissions, and follow up. Identify known assets and liabilities as well as changes in household income, expenses, and financial obligations following the death.
Professional Coordination
Coordinate with attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, insurance professionals, real estate agents, and others involved in the estate. Gather requested information, attend meetings when helpful, track action items, and make sure important next steps don't get lost between professionals.
Home, Property, & Belongings
Coordinate the practical work surrounding the home and personal property, including appraisals, estate sales, donations, clean-outs, repairs, maintenance, real estate preparation, shipping, and other vendors as needed.
Ongoing Administration & Follow-Through
Maintain records, track deadlines and outstanding items, follow up with organizations, monitor progress across the estate, and keep you informed about what has been completed, what is still pending, and what decisions need your attention.
Estate Portfolio Preparation
Create an organized portfolio of the estate's legal, financial, account, asset, liability, and other key documentation—giving the family a centralized record and making it easier to provide attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals with the information they need.
A few things worth knowing
What this looks like for you
You remain informed and in control of the decisions that require your attention, without having to personally manage every phone call, document, follow-up, appointment, deadline, and service provider involved in settling the estate.
You have one person keeping track of the whole picture.
Support tailored to the estate
Every estate is different, and so is every family's capacity and preference for involvement.
Some clients want From Here involved in nearly every step that can reasonably be delegated. Others prefer to handle certain responsibilities themselves while having me manage the areas that are unfamiliar, time-consuming, or difficult to coordinate.
We'll determine the appropriate scope together based on the estate, the work involved, and where my involvement will provide the most value.
What I do not do
From Here does not replace your estate attorney, accountant, financial advisor, or other licensed professionals.
Instead, I work alongside them—helping gather the information they need, keeping track of their recommendations and action items, coordinating follow-through, and handling the administrative work that falls between their areas of expertise.
I do not provide legal, financial, tax, or mental health advice.
